Photo Opt!

A great addition to your wedding reception is a photo booth. It allows you and your guests to have a little added fun to  your big day. I personally like this idea here, but there are dozens of options to choose from so keep it in mind when picking a photographer.

Each guest gets to tie a tag on their lantern with a wish for the couple. When the couple leaves everyone releases their latern into the sky resulting in an amazing sight for everyone to enjoy.

It may just be the photo but I can't get over how amazing this all looks. I love the tent, the colors and even the layout.

Another Centerpiece.

Here's another great center piece idea that you can use. Simply put your flowers in a vase and then place them in a large lantern for your centerpiece. Or you can use them to line the ends of your tables or a walkway instead by adding a few lights either in or around them.

Fall is coming fast as we enter the last weeks of Summer. Not typically known as an idea season for weddings as the majority take place late spring and early summer. If you're looking for a venue my suggestion is look for a place that has some history to it. You can get a lot of personality and a great sense of style when you use an old building. The fallback may be that there are certain limitations to that space, so keep that in mind when you're looking.

I haven't seen this before, but  I am loving the effect the table has as well as the lights.

Vintage

There's a ton of people trying to do things that are away from the traditional wedding style, and while I think that's a great idea because it shows some creative thinking and offers a truly unique experience, I don't believe that there's anything wrong with the traditional vintage style wedding. I mean look at this wedding cake, it's simply elegant with very little done to it.  So remember the classic wedding can and should still be an option you consider when you're planning your wedding.

I've started to notice this change happening more and more recently. A lot of brides and grooms have been putting aside the traditional separation of families during their wedding ceremony and having both sides mix together. Which overall I think sends a very strong message of love and unity.
