Winter Wedding Cake.

I see no reason why more people don't get married in the winter, I personally find the whole season beautiful. However what I found was that most people didn't know how to decorate or plan for a wedding during the colder months.

So for starters the cake, this right here is what's been called a "naked cake" mainly because it does not have any frosting or icing surrounding it but it's beautiful and it fits the Winter season especially when it's got a dusting of powdered sugar.

I'll be posting more Winter ideas in the coming weeks.

Transitional Flowers.

When it comes to flowers leave your options open, while it's great to have some set for a specific season it can be tricky when you're looking at those transitional months between the seasons.

Take for instance these flowers. They're perfect for either late Summer or Autumn.

A Fairy Tale Touch.

Having a great space gives you a lot to work with, even with cloudy days it's still amazing as this photo proves.  When thinking of a venue for your wedding keep your mind open to all kinds of locations. I'm sure the both the bride and groom were not expecting fog to roll in on their big day but they chose such a great spot that it added to the effect and making it look like it belongs in a fairy tale.

Here are some traditional guidelines for seating arrangements, procession, ceremony formation, and recession. You can choose to conduct your ceremony in a different way, but be sure to ask the officiant if he or she is amenable to changes before doing so.

An Outdoor Fall Wedding.

I'm not going to lie I love the location, under the mountain it's beautiful. But what I really like is how they decided to line the aisle with potted flowers and autumn leaves. It's a small touch that adds a great effect.

The Card Tree

I haven't seen one like this but wow did they go all out for it. And to their credit it's amazing, a card tree is where guests can write their well wishes to the new bride and groom on their big day.
